What are the costs associated with MigraMate’s services?
At MigraMate, we do not offer fixed prices as each case is unique and requires a customized approach. Our fees are based on factors such as the type and complexity of your case, the amount of work involved, and any specific requirements you may have.

Let us know the details of your case and your needs, and we will provide an individualized quote with a transparent fee structure.

I can’t book a TRC application appointment. What are my options?
If you are unable to book an appointment for a personal submission, you may submit your application and documents to the registry office of the appropriate Voivodeship Office (commonly called the ``immigration office``) based on your place of residence or send them by registered mail with confirmation of receipt via Polish Post (Poczta Polska).

The application must be submitted by the last day of your legal stay or earlier to avoid overstay. The date of mailing or submission at the registry office is considered the date of submission.

If you send your application to the incorrect address, it will not be deemed submitted, which could result in an illegal stay in Poland and potential deportation. To avoid these risks, it is advisable to use our professional assistance from start to finish.

Do I Need Health Insurance in Poland for a Residence Permit?
Yes, having health insurance is essential when applying for a residence permit in Poland. You must provide proof of health insurance, which can be either private insurance or a contract with the National Health Fund (NFZ).

If you are employed in Poland, your employer will typically arrange for your registration with the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), which includes health insurance coverage. If you're not employed, you can opt for private insurance that covers necessary medical services, including hospital care. Alternatively, you can sign a voluntary contract with NFZ to access public healthcare services.

When choosing private insurance, it is crucial to ensure that the policy covers medical treatment costs in Poland. Make sure the policy meets the requirements and provides adequate coverage for your residence permit needs.

Can I Buy Property in Poland as a Foreigner?
Yes, as a foreigner, you can buy property in Poland, though there are a few restrictions if you're from outside the EU or EEA. Non-EU citizens usually need a permit from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, especially if you’re buying land. However, buying an apartment or a small residential property generally doesn’t require this permit.

If you already have a Temporary or Permanent Residence Permit in Poland, getting a permit may be easier, as having a legal status can strengthen your application. For EU and EEA citizens, there are no permit requirements for most property purchases, but there are exceptions for specific types of land, like agricultural land.

Can I Get Polish Citizenship After Marrying a Polish Citizen and Moving to Poland?
Marrying a Polish citizen does not automatically grant you Polish citizenship, but it can be the basis for eventually obtaining Polish citizenship in the future.

Typically, the process involves first applying for a temporary residence permits based on your marriage, followed by a permanent residence permit. Consequently, to qualify for Polish citizenship, you must meet criteria related to the duration of your marriage and your residence status, as well as demonstrate Polish language proficiency at a minimum B1 level and fulfill other requirements.

Throughout each residence permit process, your marriage will be closely reviewed to confirm its legitimacy, and both you and your spouse may be interviewed to rule out marriage fraud. Since each case is unique, we recommend consulting with us for personalized advice and assistance in navigating the citizenship process.

Can I Work in Poland if I Entered on a Tourist Visa?
No, you cannot work in Poland on a tourist visa.

However, there may be very limited options for legally working in Poland depending on your future status. We recommend consulting with us to assess your situation and explore any available options for obtaining the right to work.

How long does the TRC process take with MigraMate?
The duration of the administrative process for granting a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) is beyond MigraMate’s direct control. Timelines are established by law. In practice, they can also vary based on the specific Voivodeship Office (immigration office), case examiners (inspectors), and other factors.

While we cannot influence these legally established timelines, we ensure that every aspect within our control is handled efficiently. We expedite the process through proper qualification assessment, thorough meticulous preparation of your application and supporting documents, which significantly minimizes processing time. Just to give you an idea, the fastest we’ve ever obtained a temporary residence permit decision for one of our clients was in just 1 month and 10 days.

If your case experiences unjustified delays, we will address the issue by filing complaints or expedition requests with appropriate justification and evidence if available.
